How much will it cost to ship my order?
We offer "Zone Rate" shipping and "Flat Rate" Shipping.

Zone Rate
Equal to or Less than 1kg going to USA or Canada=$3.00
Equal to or Less than 3kg going to USA or Canada=$4.50
Equal to or Less than 7kg going to USA or Canada=$8.50

Flat Rate
Flat rate is an express service via DHL or Fedex within the USA or Canada. Outside North America this shipping option will have the package delivered by regular post. Expect 6-8weeks for delivery.
Customers are responsible for any brokerage fees and local taxes incurred. Goods are shipped FOB our warehouse in Markham Ontario Canada.

When will I receive my order?
Since we’re the manufacturer of the Plane Sights line many in stock items are shipped within 4 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. We deliver most of these orders by bike to the post office (or UPS/Fedex for our dealers) at about 4pm EST every day. Out of stock items may take up to two weeks to ship. We'll notify you of having upgraded your shipping service at our expense if the order is delayed. “ZONE RATE” Orders are sent via Canada Post Small Packets mail, or better service, which typically takes about 20 days to arrive. Orders being delivered outside North America must use “FLAT RATE” shipping, which is also a parcel service and can take 4-6 weeks. Orders being delivered within North America with “FLAT RATE” shipping will be sent Priority mail, Fedex, or DHL express whatever gets it to you faster, usually 1-6 days. CONTACT US if you wish to have your order sent via your courier account or some other way.

Do you offer dealer/reseller discounted pricing?
YES, we offer a fair discount with a low minimum order. Plus we sell through various wholesalers which may be more economical for pilot stores to consolidate orders from. How do I clean and maintain the look of my Plane Sights products?
EVERY WEEK BRUSH OFF LOSE DIRT EVERY MONTH HOSE DOWN FOR QUICK CLEANING EVERY TWO MONTHS HAND WASH WITH MILD SOAP AND WARM WATER. DO NOT USE BLEACH. DRY FLAT. AFTER DRYING SPRAY WITH 303 FABRIC GUARD.

Plane Sights are guaranteed to resist UV exposure for up to four years. Use 303 fabric guard To extend the life of your Plane Sights kit. This reasonably priced and widely available spray will extend the visual effectiveness of your Plane Sights products.

What happens after I place my order, how will I know it’s being processed?
Step 1: Order placement and confirmation Step 2, Pending: We send you a copy of your invoice for your records, advise you of your credit card approval and confirm the details of your order Step 3, Processing: You receive an e-mail indicating that the status of your order has changed to “Processing”. Your order is being packed and shipped, within the day if it’s before 3:30pm EST. Step 4, Delivered: We receive notification of delivery from Canada Post. We send an e-mail to you confirming that your package has been delivered.

If I leave my pitot heat on will your covers melt or burn?
Temp Range
The fabric pitot covers (Angled, Universal, Blade & DA42/PC12) are not high temperature or flame rated. However, the Sunbrella fabric and florescent green binding are made from acrylic fibers (eg.made from oil) so in theory, and we've been told in practice they melt well.
In terms of outdoor environmental concerns we have customers that use them in the heat of the desert and extreme cold of Alaska.
The standard PVC plugs (3/4", 5/8" and Light Sport) are rated for (107*C/225*F). Plus we offer special order high temp (230*C/446*F) plugs in virtually any diameter and length.

We also offer a high temp Kevlar probe cover by special order.

Will Plane Sights markers damage my aircrafts paint finish?
No. Doing so would be counter to our concept. We custom bond our UV resistant nylon with a soft microfibre that has the ability to resist collecting potentially damaging dirt and contamination. This microfibre is also breathable and mildew resistant so that your cover lasts longer and stays in top condition.

What Warrantee do you offer?
We stand behind the quality of all of our products. But we also stand behind the beautiful unpredictability of life. We warranty our Plane Sights product line against any defects in the materials or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Furthermore, we guarantee our bright outer fabric will not become unserviceable because of loss of color or strength from normal usage and exposure to conditions including sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals for a period of four (4) years from the substantiated date of purchase. If there's a qualified defect with the materials or workmanship of a Plane Sights product, -upon approval- we will issue a merchandise credit to buy a new product from our website. This applies anytime, anywhere, with no hassles. If a Plane Sights product is damaged in the course of normal (or abnormal) wear and tear, customers may not qualify for our warranty replacement
